Under the tile there is a waterproof layer. Once the tile goes on, nobody sees it again. In most renovations, someone you never meet builds it, and the salesperson never looks at it. We build that layer ourselves with the Schluter shower system: the board, the membrane, the corners and the drain all from one maker, made to bond to each other. And you can see it in your own bathroom before the tile goes on. That is why we stay small enough to be on every job.

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Metro Vancouver?
A full bathroom starts from $7,000 with the same layout, and from $12,000 if the layout changes. The size of the room, the tile you pick, whether plumbing moves, and the glass and taps all change the price. We come out for free and give you a written, itemized quote, so you know the number before we start.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
About one week in your home for a typical bathroom. The same people do every step, so nobody waits for the next trade. Moving plumbing or waiting on special tile adds days. A standard 8 to 10 mm glass door goes in on the last day. Custom glass is measured on the finished shower and fitted by the glass installer when it is ready. You get a day-by-day plan with your quote.
Can I use my only bathroom while you work on it?
Plan to be without it for the length of the job. We keep the toilet working as long as we can and tell you the exact days it will be out. Families with one bathroom often plan the work around a trip, or we order the steps so the days without it are as few as possible.
